She served as a co-editor of the \u003ci\u003eAdult Education Quarterly\u003c\/i\u003e and is presently a co-editor of \u003ci\u003eAdult Literacy Education: The International Journal of Literacy, Language, and Numeracy\u003c\/i\u003e. In addition, she has served as a president of AAACE\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eJovita M. Ross-Gordon is Distinguished Professor Emerita at Texas State University.
