Her research focuses on technical and professional communication and the intersections of editorial processes, content strategy, and user experience.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eMichael J. Albers\u003c\/strong\u003e is a professor at East Carolina University, where he teaches in the professional writing program. Before coming to ECU, he taught for eight years at the University of Memphis and worked for ten years as a technical communicator, writing software documentation and performing interface design.
