He studied History at the Universidad Nacional del Sur, where he now teaches. From 1995 to 2003 he was a curator at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Bahía Blanca, authoring numerous art catalogues for exhibitions. As well as \u003cem\u003eFireflies\u003c\/em\u003e and \u003cem\u003eA Musical Offering\u003c\/em\u003e, published by Charco, he has several other novels: \u003cem\u003eEl Canon de Leipzig\u003c\/em\u003e (1999), \u003cem\u003eLos Mares de la luna\u003c\/em\u003e (2006), \u003cem\u003eMaelstrom\u003c\/em\u003e (2015), \u003cem\u003eLeyden Ltd.\u003c\/em\u003e (2019)__ -__ a book composed entirely of footnotes - and most recently \u003cem\u003eLenguas vivas\u003c\/em\u003e (2023).\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eFionn Petch\u003c\/strong\u003e is a Scottish-born translator working from Spanish, Italian and French into English. He lived in Mexico City for 12 years, where he completed a PhD in Philosophy at the UNAM.
