Originally from South Florida and in her final year of undergraduate studies in Georgia, her first poetry collection titled \u003cem\u003ea complete work in progress\u003c\/em\u003e was released three years ago. Her writing has appeared in \u003cem\u003eThe Citron Review\u003c\/em\u003e, \u003cem\u003eFive Minutes\u003c\/em\u003e, \u003cem\u003ePomona Valley Review\u003c\/em\u003e, and elsewhere. When she was little (not so long ago), she would scribble in notebooks and promise herself that one day, she would publish her writing. Nia's favorite thing to do is fulfill this promise.
