His fiction for adults has been published in North American Review and other literary magazines, and his short-story collection, It Takes You Over, received a 2013 Friends of American Writers Literary Award. Currently, he teaches creative writing at Minnesota State University, Mankato.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eRandal Jackson \u003c\/strong\u003eis an artist and animator originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. His passion for drawing and writing began when his older brother introduced him to the world of comics and anime.
