Monica Juneja edits the Series \u003ci\u003eVisual and Media Histories \u003c\/i\u003e(Routledge), is on the editorial board of \u003ci\u003eVisual History of Islamic Cultures\u003c\/i\u003e (De Gruyter), \u003ci\u003eDing, Materialität, Geschichte\u003c\/i\u003e (Böhlau), \u003ci\u003eÄsthetische Praxis\u003c\/i\u003e (Brill), \u003ci\u003eHistory of Humanities\u003c\/i\u003e (University of Chicago Press), and is co-editor of the \u003ci\u003eJournal of Transcultural Studies\u003c\/i\u003e. \u003cb\u003eSumathi Ramaswamy \u003c\/b\u003eis James B. Duke Distinguished Professor of History and International Comparative Studies at Duke University, Durham, North Carolina, USA. She has published extensively on language politics, gender studies, spatial studies and the history of cartography, visual studies and the modern history of art, and more recently, digital humanities and the history of philanthropy. Her published works include \u003ci\u003eGandhi in the Gallery: The Art of Disobedience; The Goddess and the Nation: Mapping Mother India\u003c\/i\u003e; and \u003ci\u003eHusain's Raj: Visions of Empire and Nation\u003c\/i\u003e, among others.
