Se licenció en Bellas Artes en la Universidad de Sejong, en Seúl, y terminó su formación artística en la École Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Estrasburgo. Vivió diecisiete años en Francia y empezó a publicar dibujando sus primeros cómics para el mercado francés, de los que destacamos \u003ci\u003eLe chant de mon père\u003c\/i\u003e (2012), \u003ci\u003eJiseul\u003c\/i\u003e (2015) o \u003ci\u003eL'arbre nu\u003c\/i\u003e (2020); también ha ilustrado numerosos álbumes infantiles y traducido más de cien libros.
