After a professorship at the Swiss National Science Foundation, she was appointed full professor of contemporary art history and museology at the University of Neuchâtel. Curator and co-curator of numerous exhibitions. Research areas: Austrian and German Expressionism (Kokoschka, Kirchner, Klee); Wiener Werkstätte; Bauhaus; the Russian avant-garde. \u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eMarie-Eve Celio-Scheurer\u003c\/strong\u003e holds a doctorate summa cum laude in history of art from La Sorbonne. She was grant recipient from the Swiss Academy of Humanities and Social Sciences and a research fellow at the German Center for Art History Paris. She lived in India, where she was a consultant for UNESCO. She worked as a scientific collaborator and co-curator at the Rietberg Museum in Zurich and held the position of guest professor at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Western Switzerland. From 2019 to 2022, she led the Cotsen Textile Traces Study Center at The George Washington University Museum and The Textile Museum. Since December 2022, she has been heading the collection of prints and drawings at the Musée d'art et d'histoire in Geneva.
