Mark is also one of a select group of guides who conducts the Dark Side of Charleston Tour for Bulldog: the tour that inspired the writing of the Wicked Charleston books. The Dark Side is the only non-ghost nighttime tour in Charleston. On average, Mark conducts twenty tours a week, about one thousand per year. He is the author of Wicked Charleston: The Dark Side of the Holy City, which covers the history of the founding of Charles Towne from a unique perspective: drinking, prostitution and murder. The Charleston Post and Courier called the book a solid (if tipsy) foundation for the revelry to come.� Wicked Charleston, Volume 2 is the continuation of that revelry.
