With Lavina Fielding Anderson, he created the chronologies found in \u003ci\u003eConfessions of a Mormon Historian: The Diaries of Leonard J. Arrington, 1971-1997\u003c\/i\u003e. In April 2020 his edited work was released by Signature Books, \u003ci\u003eWriting Mormon History: Historians and Their Books\u003c\/i\u003e. He served three years on the board of directors for the John Whitmer Historical Association.
