The book is an adventure where the child chooses on each page what they want to happen in the football match. When they score a goal they write the new score in. Developed to link school and home learning, 'The Match' series builds children's confidenceand also introduces them to phonics.
Author Biography
Adrian Lobley writes non-fiction, fiction and children's education books. He lives in Leeds works in IT and writes in his spare time. He is chairman of his tennis club. Adrian wrote this in order to help his football-mad son learn to read. "A Learn to Read Book: The Tennis Match" (children's Education): Adrian's third book, released in 2015, is the second book in the 'A Learn to Read Book' series which helps young children (Phonics Level 1) to read their first words. "The Tennis Club at Worple Road" (fiction): Released in 2015. A crime thriller which is based around the real life timeline of events that were integral to the explosion of lawn tennis on the world.
