Franz Kotteder has been an author and editor at the Süddeutsche Zeitung, one of the largest national daily newspapers in Germany, for 30 years. He has been a senior editor since 1996 and is responsible for culture, features and catering, among other things. He has been reporting on the Oktoberfest every year for over 10 years and knows the really interesting stories.
