Roman sat rooted to his chair as he watched the big passenger door slide slowly back. He squinted through the sunbeams until he saw the metal mechanism leave its vertical position for the horizontal. Then it hit him. "She's in a wheelchair " he exclaimed. "I'd never have guessed."
