Grand Canyon National Park is renowned for its spectacular geology, but within the 1.2 million acre park visitors will also experience seven life zones, three types of desert and an ecology that nearly rivals the park's impressive geology. This beautifully illustrated guide highlights over 100 familiar species of birds, mammals, reptiles, amphibians, trees, shrubs, wildflowers and fossils. This guide was updated in 2012 with a new cover design and features a graphic that illustrates the geologic history of the canyon. Laminated for durability, this handy guide is a great source of portable information and ideal for field use by novices and experts alike. Made in the USA.
