Author Biography

Ben Flores is a graduate of National University with a B.S. in Computer Science, and is curator of the Garifuna Museum of Los Angeles (GaMoLA). He co-owns Rootz Novelties along with Buck Pastor & Kamali Flores, a source for Garifuna-themed clothing, crafts and accessories. He was an Assistant Producer for the movie "Garifuna In Peril" and was responsible for translations and subtitles. Ben is also on the board of directors of the Garifuna Hope Foundation in Los Angeles.
