In this English version, publisher and author Cynthia A. Sandor shows how the girls were educated in camaraderie, discipline, and preservation of their race. The BDM used campfire romanticism, summer camps, folklore, traditions, and sports to instruct the girls and to train them for their roles in German society, becoming a wife, mother, and homemaker.
