Inproving Your Spelling Skills has been designed to increase a student's desire and enjoyment of learning to spell correctly. The lessons have been prepared in such a way to utilize all of the spelling words in each unit every day in order to give sufficient repetition. This book includes lessons on short and long vowels, phonograms, consonant clusters, consonant digraphs, suffixes, plurals, contractions, homophones, and compound words. Dictionary skills are also included in almost every unit. Review tests have also been provided after every five units in order to evaluate the student's ability to retain the knowledge he or she has acquired.

Author Biography

Victoria Kays has been an educator for thirty years. She has taught K-12. Her goal for this book is to help children enjoy learning to spell correctly and to provide everything a teacher needs to teach spelling the entire year. Her passion and calling is teaching children.
