Fin Fleming is a famous scuba diver and underwater photographer as well as acting director at RIO, a renowned oceanography institute on Grand Cayman. Category 5 Hurricane Willard is barreling toward her, but Fin has everything under control. Or so she thinks, at least until she must risk her life to move her brother's boat to safety.
Then after the storm, while assessing the boat for damage, she makes a horrifying discovery that sets off a disturbing chain of events.
