PIPER CJ nació en Dakota del Norte, Estados Unidos. Es fotógrafa, aficionada a la lingüística y entusiasta de las papas fritas. Tras estudiar un máster en folclore, trabajó durante varios años en Vietnam como profesora de inglés y en Singapur como fotógrafa. Ahora, cuando no está jugando con sus perros, Arrow y Applesauce, está haciendo TikToks, estudiando vietnamita o escribiendo fantasía muy muy rápido.
