by Kirk Bingenheimer (Author)

Before I started my home inspection business I was a professor at Clemson University and then worked in the production home building industry for the next fifteen years. In 2009, during the housing downturn, I launched a home inspection service in the Charleston, South Carolina market. Two weeks before I launched my business my CPA asked me how I was going to obtain new clients. To be honest I had no good answer for her. It was at that very moment that my journey to obtain paying customers began. I felt confident about my ability to perform home inspections. However, I did not have any idea what it would take to market and operate a professional home inspection service. After a lot of hard work and many lessons learned my company was performing more than 400 inspections annually in our third year of business. With a solid business model now in place I am ready to share my secrets of effective home inspection marketing and operational systems. In this book you will learn what it takes to be a successful home inspector. The first section is an overview of what to consider before you start your business. Part two is about what you need to do to launch your new home inspection business. Part three is an overview of the strategies it takes to grow your inspection business. The last section talks about the systems you need to make money inspecting homes.
