Chase did not have a good day at school. Nothing seemed to go his way. The teacher asked him to be quiet three times during reading. He splashed in the water instead of washing his hands. And no one invited him to play at recess.

Chase was sad when his mom picked him up from school. He told her all the things that had gone wrong. But then she asked him to remember the good that happened, and she reminded him each day is a new day to make good choices.

This picture book for children demonstrates the power of positive thinking as one mom encourages her son to see the world through a different lens.

Author Biography

Nikia D. Garland, an English teacher, enjoys reading, writing, cooking, traveling, fashion, and the arts. Chase A. McCloud, an inquisitive third grader, is a self-proclaimed "gamer" and burgeoning YouTuber. He also relishes reading, writing stories, inventing, drawing, and playing the role of resident sous chef. Mother and son live in Indianapolis, Indiana.
