A Biblical Foundation for Teaching Children
Sometimes we view children in terms of their future value. But to Jesus, children were precious in the here and now, and He gave them His full attention and love. When we view children in the same way, we will seek to nurture and teach them using the Word of God as our foundation. Whether you're ministering to your own children at home or someone else's at church, Rock-Solid Kids will help you raise strong children who stand firm in their faith. The plan presented in this book is based on eight practical and inspirational scriptural principles called "foundation rocks." Building on this foundation, each chapter teaches the importance, responsibility, content, and golden opportunity of children's ministry. The principles in this book are exactly what we as parents and teachers need to help us develop a set of convictions--based solidly on the Word of God--for raising and training kids who have a rock-solid faith. "This book is filled with insight and instruction. I highly recommend it."--Dr. Jack Graham, pastor, Prestonwood Baptist ChurchAuthor Biography
