Author Biography

Jane Yolen is quite small and loves to play checkers, drink tea, and make up stories. She has published over 400 books and thinks this one is possibly number 419. She has won many book awards and six Honorary Doctorates for her body of work. She and her very tall husband go back and forth between his house in Connecticut and her house in Massachusetts. She wrote this story in Massachusetts, but this little biography in Connecticut.
