Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Charlene Gowen visited the Cyclorama at Grant Park. This is where she first learned of the war that divided families, destroyed homes and cities, and threatened a nation. After 25+ years as an actress, producer, director and writer, she now enjoys an active and creative retirement.
