This document is based on photocopies from microfilm reels of the Bastrop Advertiser. The names of all persons in these pages were taken directly from news articles in the newspaper during World War II, 1941-1945. Names of spouses and brothers and sisters are added when their names are known. The index list each person's surname plus branch of military service and date of newspaper containing each name.
