Archie Burkel discovered her love of hats when she was ten years old and found them in a trunk in her girlfriend's attic. Her life long passion for fashion resulted in her forming The Hat Ladies of Charleston, Ladies of all ages who love hats of all colors and wear them in a spirit of camaraderie and community service.
