Author Biography

Amy M. Starkey, affectionately known as "Miss Amy" by her students, has been working with children of all ages and ability levels for the last 15 years of her career. As a pediatric occupational therapy assistant and children's yoga instructor, her work has helped her to gain great knowledge in many of the emotional and social issues affecting children today. This is her first published children's book, which was inspired by the many wonderful students she has had the pleasure of working with over the years.
