This is the story of Mina, a teenage girl who is lured away from Earth to an outdoor marketplace on the moon. Mina's only desire is to return to her family and their little cottage by the sea, but the obstacles that stand in her way plunge her deep into the mystery that plagues the dystopian moon world.

With help from a talking map and a lunar wolf, Mina makes her way across a desert landscape in order to fulfill a bargain that will send her back to Earth.
