A fictional tale of a young man who finds family in the misfits of an Army Infantry Company deploying over to Afghanistan in late 2020. The main character Private Charlie George, although not a misfit himself, is taken in by this tight-knit group of front line enlisted soldiers. He has to use every skill they teach him to survive and return to his base.
