You will be a believer in true love when you meet Charlie. Charlie was born at the foot of a big hill in Doxieville, where he happily works with his father (Denver) building houses. Charlie's true Valentine is Rose. Rose asks Charlie if he will wait for her as she climbs to the top of the hill to see where life may lead her. Time will put Charlie's love and broken heart to the test to see if Rose will ever return.

Children will learn through Charlie that if you truly love someone or something enough you should let it go and then it may come back to you if it was truly meant to be.
