Author Biography

Ken Meronek, the owner and photographer for Just Wild Photography lives in Cody, Wyoming. He is a self-taught photographer who has been taking pictures since 1965, but who became a professional photographer in 2007. A retired USAF veteran, Ken has traveled throughout the world, but landed in Cody, Wyoming, where he has access to the Yellowstone ecosystem and many of his favorite photography sites. Ken also volunteers for the Bureau of Land Management, which allows him to be on the range frequently. Because he spends so much time on the Wild Horses Herd Management Area at McCullough Peaks, he says he gets to see the horses do all kinds of crazy things that visitors won't usually see.
