Author Biography

My inspiration is my life. I grew up without a mom or a dad in Virginia. Many times, I wanted to give up on life because I felt like I never mattered. Thankfully every year after many heart breaks I realized my blessing came in different ways. I put myself through college and decided to give back to little girls and boys who mirrored me. Though it took me years to realize it; that Yes, Yes, Yes, I do matter too! I really do. Now as a Family Nurse Practitioner I want to share with you why the food we eat benefits you.
